Arctic Safari Guides Is Ready for Winter 2026–2027

Last winter, I had the privilege of guiding guests from around the world through some of Lapland's most iconic destinations, including Riisitunturi National Park, Korouoma Frozen Waterfalls and Ranua Wildlife Park. We spent unforgettable days ice fishing on frozen lakes, searching for the Northern Lights under Arctic skies and creating magical Christmas memories as Santa Claus and his helper visited families staying in Rovaniemi.

These experiences confirmed something I have always believed:

New Experiences for Winter 2026–2027

For the upcoming season, Arctic Safari Guides has expanded its selection of winter experiences.

Two exciting new programs have been added:

Forest Elf Treasure Hunt

A magical family adventure where children follow clues through a snowy forest while helping Santa's Elf complete an important mission.

Ruka Coaster & Adventure Day Trip

A fun-filled excursion combining the famous Ruka Alpine Coaster with beautiful winter scenery and one of Finland's most popular winter destinations.

In addition, our Northern Lights experiences have been further developed based on guest feedback and growing demand. The goal is simple: provide more flexibility, better Aurora hunting opportunities and an even more memorable experience.

Growing the Team

Last season, I personally guided many of our tours.

As demand continues to grow, Arctic Safari Guides is preparing to welcome additional guides to the team. This allows us to maintain small-group experiences while serving more guests throughout the winter season.
